Screen Printing
Screen printing is the most traditional method of garment printing. At Minuteman Press we use automatic and manual presses to print as many shirts as we can in an assembly line fashion. We break the design down by separating the different colors of ink being used. Then we apply and push the ink through the screen onto the garment.
There are different inks that can be used for printing. Included are plastisol ink, water based ink, and discharge ink. Most common ink is plastisol ink which is made up of PVC particles. After being printed on the garment, plastisol ink must be cured at a temperature of 350 degrees so it can then fuse with the garments materials.
This method ensures quality and durability for all our customers needs!
